Our client based in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer.
Designing and verifying digital circuits which form part of mixed mode ASICs used in wireless communications systems. You will be responsible for designing digital hardware for use in wireless communications ASICs, and for verifying the designs through simulation and emulation. The digital hardware may, for example, be related to signal processing associated with modulation and demodulation, host interfaces such as USB and PCI, and hardware accelerators used for encryption and other intensive tasks.
The ideal candidate requires at least 2 years of relevant experience. The candidate should be thoroughly familiar with Verilog or VHDL and with programming in ?C?. Preferably, the candidate should also be familiar with synthesis and static timing analysis. Experience of implementing digital signal processing algorithms in digital hardware would be an advantage.
Salary £Depending on experience.
